I received a phone call from Verizon today wishing to resolve the Better Business Bureau complaint I filed a few weeks ago. It appears we will be offered brand new verizon network phones as they believe our problem stems from our Alltel equipment not working properly with the verizon network. We'll see what happens though...
Why it had to get this far is beyond me. Verizon could have done this for us 6 weeks ago when all this drama started. Why must I be forced to be a bitch and file complaints with the BBB or the FCC to get action? Why must they make me be mean? Maybe additional training for the customer service reps is in order, I think I got 2 out of 25 in the last few weeks who even sounded like they knew what they were talking about or even willing to help.
So a word to the wise my friends, take it up the chain as far as you can...but in the end with big corporations like this, you will have to take it that step further to actually be heard!
